Inphantry was chosen to conceptualize and design a stunning venue space that perfectly embodied the essence of Red Bull Basement's theme: world-changing ideas fueled by technology and creative thinking.
Set in the iconic MIT Media Labs, the event’s design and vision seamlessly integrated natural light with dynamic lighting to create a fresh, technical aesthetic that reflected the spirit of technological innovation—a vibrant environment designed to spark creativity and exploration.

What's Red Bull Basement:
Visionaries from across the US pitch their transformative ideas for a chance to compete on the ultimate stage of innovation. This year, the top 10 finalists presented their concepts at the iconic M.I.T. in Cambridge, MA—a world-renowned hub of ingenuity and creativity. From there, the winner will advance to the World Final in Tokyo Japan this December, taking the next step toward shaping the future.
To elevate the experience, Inphantry introduced a series of AI-powered activities, providing attendees with hands-on opportunities to interact with cutting-edge technology designed by Inphantry. These interactive installations became the centerpiece of the event, fostering excitement and inspiration as finalists confidently prepared to present their transformative ideas to a live audience and panel of industry judges.

Inphantry designed an app that uses AI to transform your sketches into stunning visual masterpieces.
Add prompts and adjust the influence and watch as the AI brings your vision to life in real-time — a fun, interactive way to experience the power of AI in art!
AI-Powered 3D Modeling
An innovative AI experience for Red Bull contestants! Inphantry created a scanning app that captures handmade models and uses AI to transform them into refined 3D designs, which were then 3D-printed with precision on PRUSA printers.

My Role in Bringing the design to Life
Working closely with Inphantry's designers, I created detailed 3D models of the MIT venue using precise room schematics. This ensured all elements—furniture, stage, seating, and design features—fit seamlessly within the layout.
To support the team's vision, I brought the 3D set into Unreal Engine, generating images and fly-through animations that provided clients with an immersive preview of the event. These visualizations highlighted key element placement, spatial flow, and the overall atmosphere, enhanced with realistic lighting to capture the event's ambiance.
The detailed 3D layouts, quick revisions, and realism in Unreal Engine, enabled Inphantry to plan confidently and helped clients swiftly approve the designs, boosting assurance that the space was both functional and inspiring for attendees.
